Tumescent or ultrasonic Liposuction Surgery results

Effects of a  Texas Liposuction  are permanent, with minimal complications when performed by a qualified, experienced surgeon.  Ultrasonic liposuction can have other effects especially when a lot of excess fat is removed, and when very strong suction is used against tissues near the skin.  These effects include bruising, swelling, bleeding, and infection.

Three percent of patients experience unevenness, although this is not a long-term problem.  Only a third need further surgery.  A browning discoloration of the skin can occur in 4% of patients, which is due to pigment hemosiderin.  This is an iron material produced when red blood cells break down.  There is also increased pigment as a result of inflammation.  This can be long-lasing, particularly in inner thigh surgeries.

There may be nerve damage after a  Dallas Liposuction surgery , which is due to the stripping of the outer part of the nerve cells containing the fatty layer myelin.  About 6% of patients experience this problem, which results in the feeling of pins and needles, and pain in the area.  When fat is suctioned along the jaw line, there can be damage to the nerves which supply the muscles of the lower face.

Fat fibrosis and skin necrosis in about 4% of patients occur, where small lumps and texture changes in the skin come up.  Small pieces of fat also break off during the suction process, feeling like small sausage-shaped masses under your skin, just above the muscle.  It may give some discomfort or pain.  Necrosis can occur when the probe causes damage to the blood supply or causes burns on the skin where some cells may die in the area.

In older patients whose skin are not very elastic, the tightness of skin is further affected, especially when a lot of excess fat is removed.  Your  Houston liposuction doctor  will help tighten the skin more.  Sometimes however, further surgery may be needed.  Employing the superwet method reduces the risk of burning skin in the cavity for suctioning.  Excess fluids can result from prolonged drainage during surgery, especially when using the wetting solution in the  Dallas tumescent method .  Seroma accumulation is an uncomfortable, but not serious result of ultrasonic liposuction.

The high frequency sound used to heat and liquefy fat cells in ultrasonic liposuction has not been extensively studied.  So while there may be thousands of satisfied patients around the world, ultrasound effects on the body have yet to be studied in full.

Some imperfections in the results are not unusual after a Dallas liposuction procedure.  The skin in the area may be irregular, and even saggy.  There may be numbness and pigmentation changes.  It is important to know that the fat cells removed do not grow back, but you have to uphold your diet, exercise and healthy lifestyle for weight  control.  Any weight gains will often be distributed among the fat cells that remain.
